Old Business:
Sewer project – Permit expired 1/29/14. Ammonia and disinfection requirements likely to be on next permit. Application is ready to be submitted. Cary recommending the ground application scenario. Jackson interested party but acreage must be pasture, not row crop. This scenario is expensive. Also considering the old rail road bed but concerned about compacted soil.
First step is submitting application. Need to review proposal again. Need to contact Tracy Newberry w/ DNR 573.526.0940, SRF coordinator. Need to resubmit SRF application to Tracy.
JD Howe (pole in back) – pole & one anchor on city property. Justin will call JD to see if he’d like City to move 1 anchor two feet to make Howe happy.
Truck title – Tim gave signed copy to Mr. Fink for financing.
Truck lot – tabled
Tim – Tim needs a security light at lagoon as well as 3-3 inch pipes for service. Debbie made to motion to approve. Ruthie 2nd. All in favor & approved for warm weather project.
Fire department – Mike submitted proposed expenditures for garage door remotes ($465) & 1st responder bag ($190) to keep at the station. 24HP Pump for tanker truck desired from Heiman ($5452). Wants to sell 1991 GMC tanker truck. Council approved purchases. Jeff Albertson is new assistant chief, effective 2/1/15. Craig Ward’s resignation was effective 1/31/15; Mike Holcer promoted to chief.

Grand River Mutual – authorized users needed for account inquiries. Council & CPA added.
City email – Bobbi J. Meneely, CPA, LLC is checking at her office.
Website & design – Domain & website hosting is expiring 2/27/15. Would be cheaper to go with the same domains registered through Google. Use Weebly as hosting service. Bobbi J. Meneely, CPA, LLC to charge on credit card, bill city, and update site.
Refunds – Multiple property tax accounts have been overpaid and refunds needed. Bobbi J. Meneely, CPA, LLC will investigate and print appropriate checks for approval at March meeting.

Meters out of date – Many meters not working at last billing. Those meters have been checked and are working now.
Hayden Hibner (utility concern) – Complaining of high electric bills. Tim put a certified meter on to confirm usage.
Ordinance compliance – Mr. Rainey complaining of resident having animal hides hanging on fencing. Unable to find city ordinance prohibiting. Mayor will follow up with Mr. Rainey to see if state statute is being quoted.
