Without these completed surveys, we are unable to apply for grant funding to make the desired street improvements. BE SURE to write your address or utility account number on the survey for tracking purposes only. This is not an effort to take your confidential information. We do have to show the governmental entities that we've not received duplicate surveys.

The City of Meadville is seeking resumes for a part-time city clerk position. This is an appointed position per city ordinance.
Resumes must be submitted by email at [email protected] on or before Monday, July 10, 2023. Any applicants chosen to interview will be notified after that meeting. Position is approximately 12-15 hours per week at city hall in Meadville. Starting pay is $15/hour. Duties include and are not limited to: Keying meter reads into utility system, printing & mailing of utility bills. Post utility payments & customer utility deposits to customer accounts. Draft ordinances, submit to city attorney for review. Processing of liquor licenses. Prepare door hangers for shutoffs. Work with new residents to setup new utility accounts. Coordinating with governmental bodies and city treasurer on city projects. Check PO box, open mail. Attend monthly council meetings & take minutes. Post meeting minutes and other updates to city website. Prepare & hang monthly meeting agendas, submit agendas to attorney for review prior to meeting. Post agenda on city website prior to meeting. Candidate filings. Meet with candidates to complete required paperwork, submitting to county. Submit related ballots to newspaper for publication. Manage city email account. Respond to resident complaints regarding numerous issues. Grant research and applications. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows.
